Excavation and soil washing plants

Contaminated soil material is separated from clean material using basic wet-mechanical operations. If necessary, extractive processes are used to concentrate pollutants which can then be recycled or disposed of at a landfill in accordance with the law.

Gravel sand processing uses various washing aggregates and classifications. After several specific process stages, the procedure produces recycled building materials which meet all current technical and ecological requirements and standards. In addition, the process water is optimally circulated and treated. Our sophisticated process solutions are environmentally sound and maximize the recovery of recyclable materials.

Sludge disposal (drilling and road shaft sludge)

Under current legislation, gravel plants or large construction sites can hardly count on disposing of their liquid sludge in a sludge pond or landfill. Legislation stipulates that service water must be recycled as far as possible and that sludge must be dewatered. Sludge disposal must therefore necessarily include dewatering.

Sludge dewatering is an essential element of any treatment plant and process water system. Various processes and components are available to this end. Usually a filter press is used, which is preceded by a homogenizing tank for the pre-thickened sludge. A filter press consists of several dozen chambers which are lined with special filter cloths. Modern presses are mostly fully automatic and also programmed for the rinsing process. Sludge properties and possible fluctuations, the operating mode and degree of automation must be observed when designing the press. Characteristics of the filter cloths and filter plates also play a role. A wealth of experience from numerous applications helps us to find the solution that best meets your needs.

Sludge treatment plants

For this reason, sewage treatment technology has been continuously improved taking into account factors such as optimised energy consumption, the well thought-out and economical use of filtration and flocculation agents and operational safety.
